In the city of New York, Noora Shalash, a former official for the Council of American Islamic Affairs (CAIR) was caught on video insulting a Jewish man & calling for Jihad, after which she said she hoped ISIS killed all of the Jews (Link to Video). Video footage also revealed that Noora assaulted the Jewish man, hitting him on the head & kicking him. Noora Shalash once served as the director of government affairs for CAIR’s Kentucky branch. Noora’s outburst led her to become an overnight sensation with the video gaining millions of views, which ultimately led Noora to be arrested & charged with aggravated harassment & second-degree hate crime. Not surprisingly, CAIR denied any involvement in this and released a statement that they were a Civil Rights Group & that Noora had not been in the employ of the organization for over five years. CAIR, as in the past, tried to turn this around & play the victim by publicly stating to the Stop Anti-Semitism organization that they condemn what Noora did, just as they condemn Stop Anti-Semitism, accusing the organization of anti-Palestinian & anti-Muslim bigotry.
However, the truth of the matter is that CAIR has no business playing the victim card, nor are they one to lecture anyone about bigotry because the reality is this: CAIR is a terrorist organization. CAIR formed in 1994 and it’s a front organization for the Muslim Brotherhood, who’s memorandum called for Civilization Jihad against the U.S. & Destroy it from within (Link to Video). Numerous human rights activists have called out CAIR as being an extremist organization. Such activists include Sufi Muslim journalist & human rights activist Stephen Schwartz who stated “CAIR claims to be a Civil Liberties Organization but is actually a Front for Hamas & Exists to Spread Islamic Ideology & continues painting Muslims as being victimized here in the U.S. There is no question that They’re a Radical Group.” Qasim Rashid, and Ahmadi-Muslim human rights activist from Pakistan identified Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami Party as the “KKK” of Pakistan and that terrorist groups like the Taliban and al-Qaeda are offshoots of this party. He also went on to state that the ideology followed by this party is the same ideology embraced by the Muslim Brotherhood and its front organizations, including CAIR.
There is strong evidence to show that CAIR has been offering financial support to terrorist groups across the world. CAIR was labeled as an “un-indicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land Foundation Trial of 2007-2008, the largest trial against terrorism in the history of our nation, for financing the terrorist organization Hamas. This should not be considered a surprise as many of CAIR’s founders were also leading members of the “Islamic Association of Palestine” (IAP), which is a Hamas-affiliated anti-Semitic Propaganda machine. CAIR founders such as Nihad Awad have openly supported Hamas, a terrorist organization whose charter openly vows to annihilate the Jewish State of Israel. In truth, many individuals who were officials or former officials in CAIR now sit in prison on terrorist convictions.
The three men above are not only convicted terrorists, but were also high-ranking CAIR officials. Ghassan Elasi, a founding board member of CAIR-Texas, is serving 65 years for conspiracy, money laundering, as supplying supplies and funds to Syria & Libya (both considered state-sponsors of terrorism) and Hamas. Abdurahman Alamoudi, the director of CAIR-Northern Virginia was sentenced to 23 years in prison in October of 2004 for illegally supporting terrorist activities in Libya. Randall Todd Royer served as a communications specialist and civil rights director for CAIR, was convicted in Jan. 2004 for training with Lashkar-I-Taiba, an al-Qaeda terrorist organization in Kashmir as well as conspiring to help al-Qaeda and the Taliban in their war against the United States in Afghanistan. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Many people beyond human rights activists have called out CAIR as being an extremist group. In 2009 the FBI severed ties with CAIR as they viewed them not to be an “appropriate liaison partner.” In 2014 the United Arab Emirates officially designated CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood affiliates in the U.S. as a “terrorist organization,” and the UAE is nation that is predominantly Arab & Muslim! The reality is that CAIR leaders hold the same views about Jews & Israel that were voiced by their former employee Noora Shalash, they just don’t want the general public to know it.
